Exciting new changes happening soon….

A new and exciting change is happening, I will be offering a brand new style of photography along with a very special new package soon! The first 10 bookings will receive a lovely discount on all my full packages so keep a close eye out on Facebook for the big launch!

Our 2017 started off with very unexpectedly. At 28 weeks pregnant our son Jaxon decided to make an entrance into the world via emergency c-section at the end of January. We were thrown into the secret world of the Neonatal unit at Kingston Hospital. What an incredible place it is! The staff there are absolutely amazing, they along with The Born Too Soon Charity helped us through a very long a tough 10-week journey. Born Too Soon is the charity which supports the Neonatal Unit at Kingston Hospital and has been doing so, since 1985. Born Too Soon provides state of the art equipment and all the special touches for families which make life easier.

After 10 weeks on the Neonatal unit, we finally left and came home. I came home with thousands of photos on my phone and the few odd ones on a camera that I shoved in my bag when I remembered which wasn’t very often. Being a photographer you would have expected me to have been in there with my camera snapping away however, this wasn’t the case. This did get me thinking though, how I am sure that nearly every parent is in the same situation. A phone full of photos, photos that will just remain on the phone and the odd few that you really like are such poor quality they are not worth printing off.

With this in mind, I’ve decided to tweak my photography slightly and focus more on a documentary style to really capture things “just the way they are”. It’s those true raw photos that really tell a story that’s so personal to you and no one else. I’ve always adored a natural relaxed style of photography rather than the posed style so I’ve decided to take this opportunity to do what I love.

I also want to use my neonatal experience and add in a brand new style of package for parents who have been through the Neonatal unit with a premature baby. I know first hand how precious those little people are and how special gorgeous images will be to have. For every preemie package bought a donation will be made to Born Too Soon charity.

All photo sessions will be really relaxed with very little posed shots. I will capture a little story of life at home with your newbie. Feeding, changing, cuddles, sleep time, bath time whatever it may be… I want to be “invisible” to you so you just allow me to capture all those raw and beautiful moments that can be so easily forgotten about.

I will be offering either a two-hour photo shoot or the chance to have me with you for a half/full day to really capture it all happening. This is the perfect way to capture that day in the life of and the images would make the perfect storybook that can be looked back on for many years to come. When your little ones grow up and wonder what it was like in those early days you will be able to show them just the way it was through a series of beautiful images in a beautiful book.

If you would like to know more than I would love to hear from you.
