I live in East Molesey Surrey with my husband and two young children. I’ve been photographing families and children for over 8 years now and absolutely love my job, it gives me so much pleasure being able to give people such treasured moments to cherish.
I like to keep my style really relaxed, fun and natural. I find everyone feels far more comfortable being photographed this way and children especially can just be themselves and enjoy the session, which usually results in some beautiful natural smiles rather than those forced cheesy ones we all don’t want!
Like anyone, I love to look back through photos because they fill me with so much happiness and always make me smile. I love how they can transform you back to a moment in time and they are just so precious to have for so many reasons and that is why I do what I do!
You may have noticed I have some neonatal photos on my website, there is a little story behind that. My son was born prematurely in January 2017 at just 28 weeks. My husband and I were thrown immediately into the world of neonatal care, something we knew very little about at the time, but which has changed all our lives forever.
The team at Kingston Hospital and The Born Too Soon Charity were incredible during what was a very challenging and overwhelming time. Having spent ten weeks there, after we finally arrived home three weeks before what should have been our due date – I knew I wanted to give something back.
After speaking to a few people within Kingston Hospital, we created the idea of offering a photoshoot to families on the unit, to give them the chance to have some precious family photos taken together whilst they are there. I feel honoured to be Kingston Hospital’s affiliated neonatal photographer.
Due to Covid I have had to stop going in to photograph on the unit for the time being however I am still offering families who have been on the unit a special welcome home photoshoot for when they return home.
Helping people to relive their most treasured moments through my photography fills me with so much joy, and my passion for expressing life through a lens is what inspires me to continue to produce work that goes above and beyond the ordinary.
I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
