FAQs

Can we choose the location for our photoshoot?

Yes, but if you’re stuck for suggestions I’m more than happy to recommend a few places that I know of. I’m always up for new suggestions and trying out new places! As long as it works well for you as a family then it works well for me.

How long will the photoshoot last?

I allow up to 90 minutes for my full shoots. This includes time to stop for anything we may need during the photoshoot.

What if it rains or one of us is unwell on the day?

As long as its light rain I’m fine with that.  There’s always somewhere to shelter if it gets really wet. If rain is not your thing then I’m more than happy to change the location or if we really have to then we can reschedule another date. As for sickness, this can’t be helped, just give me as much warning as possible and we can rearrange your photoshoot for another time.

What shall we wear?

Anything that you’re comfortable in, there’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable and awkward when you’re having your photo taken. Try to avoid big loud graphics and logos as this can be quite distracting in the photos and also with children try to avoid cartoon characters as these date very quickly. Layers are good as they can be taken off and reveal a whole new look to the photos.  I am happy to I’ve some advice towards colour palettes to use if you would like me to help.

When will I receive my images?

I aim to get your images to you within 2 weeks. Your images will be sent to you via an online gallery which you can view, share and download from. There is also the option to purchase prints and wallart.

How many images will I get?

I will carefully select and edit the best images, its usually around 30-40.

You will receive personal licenses of your images but the original copyright is owned by me. This means, Yes you can print them, make albums, share them online (with credit to me is always nice). No you cannot sell them, make a profit from them in any way or alter them (cropping, photoshopping, filters and so on are all not allowed) also do not distribute to any vendors, I will do so if need be so that they have the correct copyright.

Do you take last minute bookings?

I may have some availability last minute so please contact me to find out.

Do you have insurance?

Have you done any training?
